We are saving up for one.
We just went over our budget when we purchased the soft-serve mixes, new cotton tees, socks, and Dreft.
The next on our list were some cotton full-zip hoodies, cotton pillowcases, and beanies; so this machine will have to wait a little longer.
A nurse brought a blender in, and we have been making pseudo smoothies with frozen fruit and lactose-free milk. It is probably not even close to the quality this machine would produce, but it will give us some time to save up.
So thanks…we are not “teasing” them. The veterans know what we are up against here.

Am I the only one that paid for 1, and never received it? Apparently it was shipped, but never delivered. Woot said they couldn’t get more, and just refunded the money.

They look so similar. Are there major differences?

There are two more settings on the more expensive one, gelato and smoothie bowl. It says the settings vary the speed and pressure. I haven’t really noticed any differences in the settings. Has anyone else noticed any differences?

@joselyn You mentioned ginger and having migraines. I’ve always used ginger for nausea but did it work for migraines reduction as well? I ask because I suffer a lot from migraines and it would be nice to add something else to my arsenal.

My migraines come with nausea. I guess I never stopped to think about which part it was helping.

We went to put this one in the cart, and it was “sold out.”
Then we went back and put the more expensive in the care, and it was “sold out.”
For now, guess we will stick to the double plastic bag with ice and salt and a container in the inside bag. 
Guess we saved $60.00 or so…

Yikes, I’m sorry! I jumped on this earlier today. With two little kids, I thought it might be a fun addition to our already overcrowded dry storage area when we don’t want to make full on ice cream in the old-style 6 hours of churning machine we have. These things seem to go between $150 and $200, so seeing one, even S & D, for $58, seemed like a real steal.

Our friends think it is kind of a hoot we are making an ice cream dessert in plastic bags (filled with ice and some salt) and a container…
