What is it made out of?
What is used as the non stick surface?

I purchased this and received last week. The cooking pot is nonstick, although I am not sure what it’s made out of. The outside (main unit) feels and looks like a normal but fancy crockpot. The removable cooking pot is not heavy but appears to be good quality.

Some makers have turned to coated aluminun for the heat transfer qualities & lighter weight.
I’m always a little leary of non stick coatings.
That’s why I would spend the extra for a thinner cast iron & porcelain.
