Surprised (well not really) that these are already in their factory reconditioned/ refurbished status. Scalpers had their run with these and you had to be on a wait-list on most online sites to buy one. Either these are unreliable due to the freezing mechanics or a lot of them are buyer’s remorse.

Your drinks need to have a high content of sugar to make it work.

There’s some people making sugar free recipes. You just have to look for them.

I have one and it’s ok but since I don’t have parties or anything like that it takes up a lot of space

Allulose (sugar substitute) and xanthan gum (thickener). That sounds sensible.

It’s stated in the specs that most sugar free recipes will not work effectively but it does come with recommendations for sugar substitutes that do work (7-11 now has SF slurpees). And as a slushie fanatic I really, REALLY want one but at $500 new, the choice was made for me; can’t justify the refurb price either. Way cool though - no ice needed.

I keep telling my mom, I NEED THIS FOR CHRISTMAS :christmas_tree: :gift: !!! I WOULD LITERALLY USE THIS EVERYDAY!!! I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT FOR MONTHS!!! LOL
