Depends upon your layering skills. 
I own a rower, not this brand and/or model. Use it multiple times a week. Grew up playing many sports, not rowing. Most difficult thing about rowing is getting the form down.
This is the prior model, not as sleek looking but some reviewers say the height and position of the foot rests Is better than the newer one. Need an iFit membership to really get the most out of the NordicTrack rowers; or you can use a tablet or phone or laptop and cast but the resistance won’t auto change. Decent build quality, but lots of complainers too.
