i wish i could find nostalgic tech items from the early 2000s on woot! like clear phones, monitors in different colors, and portable cd players like the sony one that clipped with the orange logo!

I don’t know…

Digital Convergence bar code reader ($5 mail order). (Scanning codes after unpacking groceries we discovered the dollar store aspirin went to the Bayer website.)
OnStar’s initial days – friends describing freaking out hearing a live human voice inside their new cars.
Ganja Farmer DOS game – the original floppy disc with full controls and musical effects.
Black & Decker digital soil/temperature moisture/light analyzer (no longer functional when Black and Decker removed its interactive website).
Azden’s bulletproof 6 Meter radio (purchased because of an expected Sporadic E band opening). Azden’s tech department congratulated DH for being the only non-employee they knew of who could re-program it without the manual. He programmed all our friends’ Azdens. We would turn it on just to show visitors what an exceptionally beautiful shade of orange the display was.
