How rough is it? seems like it would be tough on your feet maybe better on a closed in patio instead of inside.

I have a jute rug—not this one. Initially it was firm at first and then it softened over time. It hasn’t worn as well as my other rugs…but the area I had it was higher wear. It traps kitty litter more easily w the crevices.
Even then, I plan to get another….
Not the easiest rug to have to clean. Eventually you’ll end up like me…with a thick layer of dirt and dust on the floor beneath when you pick the rug up.

If there had been anything else attached definitely would have NOT shared or even thought about buying another rug like this!! Yuck. Plus, she only makes roses.
Yes, dirt does pile up underneath. But they will rinse off well if you take them outside for a quick spray off with the hose and let them dry real well before taking it inside.
