Oral-B Crossaction Toothbrush Head Refills,

Oral-B Crossaction Toothbrush Head Refills,

I’ve ordered these once or twice in the past from Woot. They look and function like genuine brush heads, and I do like this style of head because it seems to get more coverage than the slightly more compact versions. The thing is, they kind of seem like knock-offs rather than genuine Oral-B heads.

First of all, I’ve never seen black plastic genuine ones; maybe these are from a different region? Some of the other brush heads from Woot have multi-lingual packaging, so these just might be grey market. I noticed, though, these specific heads don’t quite fit the brush handle as perfectly as every other head I’ve tried, and even worse, the oscillating portion wobbles loose after a few weeks. It doesn’t fall off (I think I’m on my 3rd or 4th one of these in a row) but it’s loose enough that it pinches the inside of my cheek when I try to brush normally. Consequently, I’ve had to change the head early, before the usual 3-month mark; just a few days ago I swapped one out that had been in use for only 2 months.

So ultimately, I really want to like these brush heads, and the price is probably still worth it compared to what they retail for, but I won’t be purchasing any more of these from Woot due to the aforementioned issue.

I also suspect my floss-actions from last year were grey-market/non-US spec, at best. English/German on the packaging.
