I purchased an Orbit 62100 Yard Enforcer a couple years ago to keep small critters away from a garden, they ignored it. Tried it last year to keep raccoons from digging up my yard to get cicada grubs, they ignored it (in fact, I think they liked the shower). The only thing it seems to scare away is people.
