Started to like this until I compared the working hight to regular desks. Seems too high at its shortest. Most desks are around 28-30 inch and this being 31.7 doesn’t seem much but I’d rather be safe the sorry.

I have had this one for a few years now. Love it. It is high at lowest as you note. Ikea sells 2 folding bar chairs. A high 1 and a medium high one. I use the high one for my work bench and the med one for this desk.

As far as height goes, there’s six different heights. I consider myself short, but the lowest is just about right. Gives me a little clearance for my legs with easy access to the upper shelf, and perhaps just enough for a keyboard drawer. It can be difficult to manually adjust safely with any amount of weight like a monitor. Something to keep in mind. Sturdy, nice, and portable, but not easy for daily switching from sitting to standing unless you can easily unload the heavy items on top.

I was wondering why the lower shelf platform isn’t clearly defined as ‘present’ or not. I’d like that bottom shelf if I buy another one.
