This is a very good SCA certified coffee maker. This isn’t really a good price unless you qualify for the 20% discount by purchasing 3 items.

The shower head falls right into the grinds and gets tossed out with the grinds because it’s black and your helpful family wasn’t wearing glasses at the time. The lid for the carafe is fiddly, so your helpful father-in-law misaligns it and makes a huge mess pouring the first cup. All the coffee snobs already own a superior Moccamaster that is fairly father-in-law-proof. I got rid of mine because these issues ate up my patience with this gadget.
