I went to the website trying to see what kind of cheese this was, and now I’m about to buy a half wheel of cheese for $45 because they have a sale. I’m looking forward to my wife’s reaction when 4.5lbs of cheese gets delivered in a week. Thanks Woot.

I bought a whole wheel of the Black Butte Reserve. It’s not a bad cheese, but it’s very salty. I love firm cheeses, but, IMO, this cheese is too firm for its flavor profile. Their website 1/2 and whole wheel sale has been going on since before Christmas. Most of their other products except Blondie’s Best and Garlic and Herb have been out of stock since before Christmas.

My order was a bit short on flavor. It was packed in a cardboard box and delivered to my Florida address hot, so I’ll never know if Pedrozo Black Butte Reserve might have been as good as touted.
