Philips Hue Bluetooth LightStrip Plus Kit

Philips Hue Bluetooth LightStrip Plus Kit

WARNING WARNING WARNING

The last time I purchased Hue bulbs from Woot, I received was very clearly NOT Hue bulbs (it had to have been someone else’s return that were resold). What was in the box were three LED light bulbs from various manufacturers (Walmart / GE). I realize this is a lightstrip; this doesn’t mean that someone won’t buy a cheap $5 lightstrip and return it (which then gets resold to you and you get the short end of the stick).

Unfortunately, I waited to gift the bulbs to someone; it was INCREDIBLY embarrassing to find out that the bulbs were not real AND that Woot couldn’t help me (as I was past the return policy).

IF you purchase from this sale, OPEN THE BOX IMMEDIATELY to confirm that you’re not getting ripped off.

This is a shocking and unfortunate story. However, I can verify that I purchased this light strip last time it was on sale and it was indeed the Philips Hue product as advertised. I’ve been very happy with my purchase and am weighing the possibility of picking up another.

Just happened to scroll by this… I’ve spoken to CS and they are considering a replacement as we currently have this same Hue Bulbs (same inventory ID number and all) on an electronics deal going on now. Is that something you would be open to trying again?

KermieFae,

Sure; I still have the three non-hue bulbs but, unfortunately, no longer have the box. Please let me know what I need to do next.

Thanks!
