Near the sink, bamboo would have been a better choice.

Yeah, if you don’t seal this before you set it up it won’t last very long unless you can keep it dry.

The price is right, but I need one with a cutout for a tall spout.

Don’t flatter yourself. I found one that should work, horizontally and vertically to fit in that BDE.
