My friend has this version and absolutely LOVES it, he likes to record shows directly onto the stick and transfer them to his laptop. I’ve got the Pro stick and I love it too. It’s unbelievable how good the HD loops on your computer with these devices. I have Verizon Fios and get tons of digital stations over the cable.

Looks like a really good buy, I paid a lot more for my lower end one…

Darn it, I have the HD Pro stick from a previous woot, so I can’t really justify this one… but clearQAM sure would be nice! :frowning:

my housemate bought one of those 1 year ago. the quality is cheap. the signal is weak. the resolution is low. not recommended!

It will only work for your rooftop annenta, It will not work for cable TV:-(

No, it doesn’t work on a Mac. Check out user reviews on newegg… its quite possibly the LOWEST RATED item I’ve seen on Newegg. I’ll be passing this up and you probably should too!

Say what?? You are incorrect, the Ultimate stick has a clear QAM tuner so it works with both analog and Digital cable systems!!
