I usually throw away my regular balls because I’ve got so many of the others. :\
Then you’ll love one of these.
Blargh. Purchased.
It’s also great for community day. After the first hour I was tired of doing things the regular way so I turned it on and drove slow around the quiet parts of town. It caught more shinies than I did. It was like they were all on side streets instead of down town or at the park. Who knows.
It sold out. I guess there are a bunch of Pokemon Go players at Woot.
$25 is half the regular price.
Gotcha Guide
- Does nothing
- Pokestop option. The checkmark means its on.
- Duplicate pokemon catcher. Will catch anything you already have.
- New pokemon catcher. Will go after the new ones and it does work.
- Vibrate. Sounds like a distressed cow.
- Allowed to connect. You want this one checked.
If you only want to spin stops turn the nearby pokemon option off. Otherwise it will keep yelling about a nearby pokemon and not spin. This thing prioritizes pokemon over stops. If you want both make sure they’re both checked.
I’m probably missing some stuff but I haven’t had mine that long. It’s awesome though. It caught a shiny feebas.
So if you have a Feebas and it sees a shiny Feebas, does it consider that a new Pokemon?
No. I don’t think it can tell the difference between shiny or regular. I think it reads your pokedex. My journal stops working when I have it connected so I’m not sure what all has run away from it. If I see something I know I want I try to catch it myself so I can use better balls and berries. This only uses red balls.
When you get yours you might want to charge it overnight. Mine isn’t great about letting me know when its charging or needs charged. If it keeps disconnecting then it needs charged. I’ve been charging mine overnight and it seems fine. Yours has a battery pack so it’ll be different.
That looks complicated. I hope I can figure it out.
I was thinking the same thing.
It’s confusing at first because it all looks the same. It makes all kinds of animations and vibrations when its catching and spinning. You’ll catch on to it.
Oh. And to check and uncheck those options you hold down on the red circle until it changes. There’s several youtube videos on how to install it. Theres an app you download and it has options in it too, but after I got it paired to my game I haven’t used that app at all.
It’s not bad once you get used to it but at first its frustrating because theres not many instructions and they’re cramming a lot into a little screen.
I just spent $10 of actual dollars to bump up my storage. I hope this thing works!
It’s going to catch a lot of junk pokemon. But that’s a lot of candy and stardust. I’ve got 100 red balls to start tomorrow. Then I’ll run out. This is the point I’ll get someone to drive me around so I can refill and manually shiny hunt. Does anyone know what the 100 iv numbers are? Not that I’ll get one. Lol but is nice to know.
I usually leave the gotcha set to auto catch &
auto spin (but NOT to catch a new to me pokémon) and adjust as needed to catch only or spin only via the in game settings.
took a couple days to get the hang of it & then it’s smooth sailing.
headed to HK Disneyland. community days starts in 2.5 hours here!!
Have fun! Congrats on the pansage!
