Do you know what the max output watts is? Trying to figure out if this can keep a laptop charged on a road trip, or more just for cellphones?
Just something to keep in mind…
Air Travel Limits: Power banks of this size (exceeding typical 100Wh limits) are generally prohibited in checked luggage and often restricted in carry-on bags by aviation rules, so check with your airline before flying.
Woot should know better than to allow fraudulent listings on their site. Shame on them. Even Alexa admits the physical dimensions (4.53" x 1.02" x 3.66", 1.54 lbs) defy the laws of Lithium-Ion physics.
Hi there. These are being obtained from Amazon inventory so we don’t have a lot of information. Here it is on Amazon. There may be more information there.
What are you talking about? Are you saying it’s too small, or too large? It’s pretty close to the same measurements as tons of other 50K charging blocks on AMZ.. so I don’t get what you’re saying. Or did you just join a half hour ago to complain cause you hate Woot! or something like that?
And millions of people get fooled by fraudsters every day all over the world. Woot! can’t have 500 people to read every little piece of content on every one of the hundreds of item descriptions they pull from an AMZ listing. That would effectively negate any possibility of us getting any decent deals cause their payroll would be outrageous.
Update: This thing is terrible. Huge, heavy, and somehow can only charge my ipad from 19% to 96% once before being completely dead. Max output is 22.5w, which IS enough to keep my computer going (if already charged) but burns through battery capacity extremely fast. There is no way this thing is 50,000mah.
I received mine a couple of days ago. And just this morning, I charged 2 cell phones to 100%. The battery display
has only gone down from 99% to 90%. Not bad at all, to me. It is not warm to the touch, which is an encouraging sign to me. I really like the convenience of not having to have any power cords to attach or detach, as they are already tucked into the unit.
It arrived with a 67% charge, and took a few hours to fully charge. But that too could be a good sign that the capacity is actually as declared.
Very happy with this purchase. And at $9.99? It’s another great woot! find.
