I just received this and I know it has to be charged before it will work. I cannot get it to start charging.

Anyone have any tips?

I couldn’t find the ASIN at Amazon but you can look at the Amazon reviews Woot provides to see that some people did have issues with charging it. One said the USB C charging cord did not come with it?

(OTHER REVIEWS SUCH AS: It charges fairly rapidly but there is a 10 minute time limit and then you have to reset it. OR: The battery life is abysmal as it won’t hold a charge for long, rendering it almost useless for extended periods of use.)

I thought about getting one too until I read the reviews, which led me to believe it would not be very useful for me. Would love to know if you find it helpful @hot72chev!

Thank you! The charging cord did come with it, but it’s unresponsive. I’ve contacted customer service to see about returning it.

Make sure you give it a good long charge (e.g. overnight) for the first time.

It won’t even begin charging. No lights on the display at all.

That’s actually not unusual for some battery types. The full charge sometimes “wakes them up.”

The model I received doesn’t have the central blue light that’s shown in other customers’ photos and videos. The display says ‘Keencap Treasure,’ so I think I may have received a different, cheaper-looking model than what was advertised. Has anyone else experienced this?

Makes sure you’re not plugged into a “smart” charger like a Power IQ port that tries to sense how much juice to use for fast charging. I’ve found that these ports don’t work well with non smart devices.
