:w_boc: Post your AUGUST 2021 Crap HERE!!

I’ve been trying to win a BOC for like 10 years or so!

Good luck or should I say “I’m in the same boat” as I too am waiting for a 6lbs box with what could amount to 6 lbs of dot matrix ink cartridges or something else that will be casting me into a vortex of disparity

I feel your pain and now fear what is to come as my 6lb BOC creeps ever closer to my doorstep

Correction, I’ve been a member for 11 years. 11 long BOC-less years.

Another startling year count is 18: how old my oldest kid will be soon.

Being 41 is weird.

Good luck with your bag of crap!

Hmmm. I feel like I’ll either be wildly unpopular, or super popular within a niche.

Woot! Sure delivered the disappointment with my first ever BOC. I received:
Size 50 cargo shorts
XXL UA shirt
Two packs of screen protectors
A medium nursing bra
Pack of socks
The wonder wallet
A phone ring holder
A pair of headphones
One gauze bandage
A Woot! koozie
A Woot! Bag
Two stickers

You can do all the ceremonies now!

My second BOC is way more disappointing than my first BOC, and that was already super crappy.

1 plush Turkey hat, which will be a good target for…
3 gun grip extensions for 9MM and 0.40cal handguns of choice
1 pack of screen protectors for a tablet from the early 2000’s (or replacement windows for a tiny home)
1 Wonder Wallet (as seen on TV!!!)
1 small Battlebot toy model that looks like it already broke in transit (that’s foreshadowing)
1 telescoping magnetic pick-up tool (that my friend did not find amusing when I pointed it at her)
1 large size nursing bra (I’m going to need a better pick-up tool before this is relevant)
1 pair of +1.50 bifocals, to help me better connect with my retired neighbors
1 wool hat that’s great for this summer weather
1 size 4 boys collectible t-shirt
1 medium Oakley golf ergonomic polo
1 Woot! sticker
1 Woot! bag (the one thing that is worth more than the other items combined)

Well played Woot!, well played…

Oddly enough that BOC would be awesome to me because most (not all) of the clothing items would be seriously perfect for me. I love UA stuff and since my gastric bypass, I can wear size 50 and smaller.

Enjoy your disappointment and I hope my 1st BOC is just as disappointing but I feel that my disappointment in not being as disappointed will lead to further disappointment

I ordered a BoC and it came with all this and a wild kitten that appeared. Details (sans kitten) include:
Elastics, wonder wallet, women’s clutch, women’s novelty socks, rubber ring, dog thing-a-ma-bob, reptilian sports gloves, 4x pistol grip extensions for a SW Shield pistol (9mm or .40), 4-pin to DC RGB connectors, infant outfit (dear God I hope not to need that), a telescoping magnetic pickup tool, two shirts, a pack of screen protectors, a 64GB micro SD card with SD adapter, 3x floss, and a newtons cradle.
Oh let’s not forget the bag that says it all… The green Bag of Crap.

A few side notes:

Thank you Woot! for your crap!:smile_cat::kissing_heart:

I posted this as soon as I could after I got it off the porch.
I had to do this twice cause the app crashed :hugs:
If anyone knows of a good video editing app that’s not selling my info and such I can upload the actual unboxing. I got excited like a dog when the doorbell rang and couldn’t wait. I mean the box was still damp when I cut it open. But I unfortunately filmed my address without marking it out or tearing it off so I’ll have to edit that part out and show the unboxing. Not gonna lie, I didn’t know what a few if the things was gonna be.
Overall I’m very happy with the useless stuff I got.

Cheers

I cannot believe how disappointed I am at this craptastic load of crap that arrived today. I am stunned at how much stuff you can cram into a 6 lb box of crap. Look at this craptastic haul!
• Apple watch band
• screwdriver set
• Just Dance 3 for Wii
• Huge binder clips, many of them
• hair ties
• very nice American flag, 3 by 5 ft embroidered
• red glittery small purse
• bamboo toothbrush
• tiny tube of toothpaste
• iPhone headphone adapter
• five clear plastic sheets for picture frames
• set of makeup brushes
• tacky camera Christmas ornament
• peel and stick touch light
• closet odor eliminator
• girls centipede braid twist
• plastic emergency sleeping bag
• iPhone 7 plus case
• Samsung j3 case
• iPhone XS screen protector
• Samsung Galaxy 5 screen protector
• iPhone 8 plus screen protector
• 2 large Woot! stickers
• A lovely Woot! canvas bag

Am I disappointed? Heck yes. Will I try again to get a BOC? Every chance I get until the day I die. Thank you, Woot! for helping fill up my local landfill.

Woot! I have a bone to pick with you. I recently ordered, and susequently recieved, one of your fine “bags of crap,” with the knowledge and assurance that my box would be filled with disappointment. I felt safe knowing that I would soon recieve a box filled with Grade-A, unadulterated, unpastuerized, disappointment. This simply was not the case. When I first opened said box, I was greeted by the titular bag, of which I was expecting, but was surprised to find was perfectly useable, even useful, and in mint condition. Once the bag was set aside, I found one of your stickers, a green dot with a white exclamation point, and was again struck by it’s sheer usability. Then I happened accross the first item that seemed to be somewhat disappointing, a 3 pack of film screen protectors, presumeably for an iPad model that I do not own. But while not useful to me, they were, in fact, also in good condition, and will make a fine gift to earn appreciation from a coworker. Hardly disappointing there, either. Again I reached in, and pulled out a gold silk durag, and my dreams of a Twinkie (Bow Wow) a-la- Tokyo Drift costume were realized. Next, a full slip in size 2/3xl, and at once I knew to whom that would go. So far, my dreams of disappointment were completely dashed, and as I reached for the next item, it was truely lost, for I grabbed a telescoping magnetic item grabber, which will find endless use in my garage. Dismayed at my lack of “crap,” I again reached in, and found a heavy duty dog leash, and for a moment thought disappointment was at last in reach, for I do not have a dog, however, upon inspection, found that it, while an excellent leash, could easilly be used for many things due to it’s strong poly-weave construction and durable metal clips. The next 3 items uncovered were finally disappointing, 3 grip extensions for a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield chambered in either 9mm or .40 cal, which is a firearm which I do not, and have no intent, to own. At last, something I would have no use for, and the first thing I could truely call “crap.” Next a childs size 7 t shirt, useless, and a bag of 4 pin to dc converters, garbage. But the disappointment did not last, for next was a Wonder Wallet, red, that had features such as RFID blocking, which serves as a perfect holder for my Amiibo cards. Next a Woot! koozie, which promptly went on my drink of choice. Then I pulled out a roll of gauze, right in my backpack med kit. At last I beheld the final item, the largest in the box, that I had saved for last. A rectangular prism shaped grey bag, that contained a folded up duffle bag that even came with straps to use it as a backpack, and I, in the process of a move, found it to be a perfect addition to the collection of bags and boxes crowding my living space. Indeed this item, if nothing else, was truely the definition of “more bang for your buck.” In all, I paid just under 11 (eleven) USD and recieved not only an assortment of items worth more than I paid, but which contained a single item worth approximately 2.5 (two and a half) times what was paid for it, and all the other useful items that came with it. So while, admittedly, some disappointment was to be found, ultimately it was not nearly the quality of disappointment I was expecting. As I sit here, satisfied with my recent purchase, I can definitively say that the greatest disappointment of this whole experience was, invariably, my lack of disappointment. 1/10 on disappointment. 10/10 would buy again. Always Bet On Cows.

For my 6th BoC ever I got 6lbs of Bet on Cows! It was supposed to arrive on Monday, 08/16/2021, but the cows must have gotten here several days early (08/13/2021)! They brought me the following disappointment:

► Spikerking Women’s Beanie, Light Grey - fits my big ol’ head and even has a hole I can pull a ponytail through if I want to
► Tangle Focus Fidget thing - our corgis tried to chew it straight out the box thinking it was a toy so spouse will be bringing it to work to keep it away from the puppies
► Red Bag - super ugly, I will never use it. Text my friend and she agreed, to quote “Ummm yeah very ugly!”
► Pink/Purple/Green/Blue Ear Gel headphone earpieces (we have no headphones these will fit on)
► 2x snap shell slim cases for iPhone 7+ - husband has a newer model iPhone so this is useless
► 3x 3M N95 face masks - always useful
► A cookie-cutter set shaped like Mickey Mouse’s head - My friend who said the red bag is ugly will love this since she loves Disney
► A Grip Extension for an S&W Shield 9MM and .40CAL - I’m sure at least one of the many police officers I work with would find a use for this
► A Hair Twist Sponge - Not sure what this is for
► An activated-carbon charcoal deep pore cleansing black mask - Spouse wants to try this
► A Lightning 2-in-1 Audio Adapter - Spouse claimed immediately
► Baked Eyeshadows - Neither of us wear make-up so that’ll get rehomed
► Nail Art Decoration - Same as the baked eyeshadows
► Sand & Surf Mini Scented Thinking Putty - Spouse wants this
► LED Touch Light - These are always useful
► A 20 Amp Single-Pole Circuit Breaker - Maybe that’ll work with our house?
► A Spiderman Decorative Pillow Cover - Will rehome since our decorative throws are all corgi themed
► A Woot exclamation mark sticker - I have a co-worker I always give these to whenever I win a BoC
► A Macaron Baking Mat - I’ve never made these but at least now I can try, maybe?
► A 30-bit Precision Screwdriver set - It is super small and I’m sure I will find a use for it
► 2x green Woot! Has the Best Crap! bags

I tried to take a picture of one of my corgis, Izzy, with all this crap but she immediately tried to go for the fidget thing:

So, sans my dog trying to choke herself on the fidget thing:

With the weight of the package, I was expecting 2 reams of paper in this BoC like my last one. Now I’m sorely disappointed and paperless.

Is it really a waste if you enjoyed the adrenaline rush to get it?

Reams of paper? That’s what I got previously, amongst a couple other small craps. May not be worth $10 to me but at least it’s $10 worth to someone.

Box of Condoms

So to make sure my future job as a strumpet pans out, Woot sent me… well… this:
-Leather leggings, a MUST for streetwalkers
-A lace-up knitted crop top, a flapper’s gotta keep warm on her corner.
-Dental floss (you saw Pretty Woman, right?)
-Some weird S&M bra, 'cause these 32DDs aren’t going to sell themselves.
-Boot socks that are thigh highs on this 5’9 tea cake
-a flyswatter to shoo away those clients I don’t want
-a mini tool kit, in case I find myself stuffed into the trunk of a car (occupational hazard)
-A couple baby tee shirts, I can work those
-Blue Glow lipstick, because a ho’s gotta glow
-Paper plates, because I might get fancy eating on my corner
-a vibrator thingy…it says blue tooth remote, but we know what it really is…
-silly straws for snort…um…what?
-a magazine stabilizer for my Glock. A ho’s gotta protect herself.

Hey, whatever you gotta do to make sure those adorable little puppies stay fed and housed, right? It’s good that you’re already off to a great start thanks to Woot.
