Great to keep everything organized, if you don’t plan on moving stuff around. I’d keep some emergency items handy in it, like flashlights, blankets, flares etc.

I have said it before but I am convinced Woot! has some monkeys watching me and my messy trunk.

I picked one of these up in former Woot, and am very unimpressed. Without some support, it just collapses on itself. It’s really not much better than putting your stuff and bags into yet another bag. I’m opting back to a storage crate.

If anyone out there lives near Schenectady they can have mine. Not worth a plug nickel.

At $8 it’s fine if you don’t ask too much of it. Polycanvas is that not-woven fabric that a lot of cheap reusable shopping bags are made of. So it’s tough enough but I wouldn’t use it to carry stuff around. 40# weight limit, but it’s big so it would be easy to get more than that in it if you’re trying to use the cooler to carry food. The “cooler” thing is dumb but it’s padded so you can use it to protect glass things. But if you limit the use to “Trunk Organizer” it’s going to do that.

To go back to last woot:

Amazon users seem to like the design but differ over its quality. Some say that they regularly carry their grocery in the organizer from the car to the home. Others, however, say that it breaks quickly even sitting in the car.

The fact that it’s collapsible appears to be the strength and weakness of this. It sounds like if you relatively fill this, and just limit it to being a trunk organizer, you’re fine, and it’s cheap (and like many cheap things, occasionally will find a defective one). I have a thicker plastic underbed storage box in the trunk, but there are times like now that it’s unwieldy and clumsy to open and/or take out of the trunk (and has chipped some), and I need something to hold the grocery bags in place (and other things in the trunk that are not in the storage box) better than what I have now. Against my better judgment, I bought 3.

I’m in the camp of not completely useless, but don’t expect too much. I bought it to keep my grocery bags from sliding all over my trunk and it does do that. Luckily I don’t typically have many groceries, though. Empty, it collapses on itself, so unless you have both hands available, it can be hard to get stuff into the compartments. But, like someone else said, the collaspability is also a plus, because it doesn’t take up valuable trunk real estate if you need every inch.

I’m with bogof. I use them to keep things from scooting around in the back of the Prius, and when I don’t need them they fold up and stash in the under-floor cubby.

Okay for carrying stuff, as long as it’s not too heavy. Pretty handy for trips to Sams Club, etc.

As has already been mentioned, the “leak-proof” coolers are a joke … I can see light coming through the seams, so I’m certainly not going to trust them to hold water!

Marginally worth $7.49 if you are buying something else anyway.

Agreed. These are crap. I can’t believe woot would sell this sh… Again. The stitching was coming undone when I opened it out of the box. ToO small to hold anything. I bought 3 of them. Two of them are unopened. All three are in GoodWill Pile for the next trip I make. If you live near Burbank CA you can meet me and have it for free. But I won’t go out of my way because this crap isn’t worth the gas money.

The supposed “list price” of some of the junk Woot sells just amazes me. I really have to wonder who would pay full price, if it’s correct.

While I’m as bewildered as you guys sometimes, I promise those numbers come from the vendors/manufacturers–we don’t make them up.

Have only opened one up. Has worked as I wanted to, haven’t bothered to figure out the cooler part yet or try it, but the organizer is what I needed and hasn’t fallen apart yet. Stays fairly open without things in it, but when you design a “collapsible” storage bin, I’d expect it to sort of collapse by definition. I’ll update if the other two look “broken” or “torn” to start with.
