There is a handle directly in the middle you can barely see in the second photo. They should have included that photo, amazon has the photo under their listing.
I have tried 2 other adjustable weights, these are the best designed and most durable. I personally like the power blocks that are every 5Lbs though, these are every 10. You can do every 5 but it is time consuming to remove the little weights from the handle.

Agree with the other commenters. While i dont have this particular model, the poeerblocks ive owned for over 12 years have really held up and are easy to use. Only two caveats.
You may have to adjust your grip angle for certain exercises as the handle is inside the weight. Second is if you have large hands. Might be tight. Otherwise these are great!

I’ve had a PowerBlock set for a year or so. I just wish Woot would List a stand for these at some point… hint hint…
Does anyone know if the expansion set (stage 2, specifically) is compatible with a hybrid PowerBlock set that woot offered a few years back? That one has/had handles from the elite set and plates from the personal set.
This is from that product’s description “The Personal Trainer Set is a hybrid set utilizing the weight stack from the Personal Set and the handles of the Elite Set.”
BTW, I’ve been very happy with the set and it has no signs of wear after 3 years of regular use. But, the handles, though very secure and comfortable, do take a bit of getting used to. I wear a smart watch to track my workouts and find that I have to pay attention to how I’m holding the block or I’ll accidentally press the button on my watch and trigger Alexa.

Amazon carries the Powerblock Elite Exp, this is the Powerblock Elite USA. Essentially the same save for the USA is, well, made in the US(at least the actual weights) and is ~1/2" shorter. Also the adder weights lock is on the top vs the side. The Elite USA is (almost) solely sold directly through Powerblock and buying stage 1&2 here saved me ~250 USD, namely due to Prime shipping. Just got shipping confirmation and it is coming from Minnesota near the founding town so I am confident it is legitimately the Elite USA. However, the Chinese manufactured Elite Exp sounds perfectly acceptable as well. Go with whichever is cheaper/meets your shipping needs. I have read the Elite Exp stage 2(70 lbs) and stage 3(90 lbs) will fit an Elite USA but stick up half an inch. The Elite USA expansions here will only fit the stage 1 Elite USA and not the stage 1 Elite Exp
For anyone curious, I have an extremely older version of these that I bought over twenty years ago (no designation on it, just Power Block and some Made in the USA logos with flags). I was pleasantly surprised that the two extensions I ordered from this deal were compatible.
Edited to upload a picture of my ‘ancient’ model in case anyone wants to compare them with other models they may have. The extensions will work with this and possibly anything similar in build.
Anyone know if these will fit the classic 50 plus? Mine look to be expandable to 70 lbs.
