These are great dumbbell sets. Mine are an older set without the autolock feature and mine are more colorful cause the weights are color coded.
I purchased another set by a different company to use when visiting in Canada. They’re nice and they work, but they lack the small incremental option that powerblock provides.
So the powerblock sets are definitely worth the extra money. Also, get the weight stand, you’ll be glad you did.
Anyone know the difference between these and the Elite EXPs? I just ordered the Elite’s from Amazon a few days ago.
wal mart has it for $180 (same model as in powerblock website. Is the amazon version older? It is not listed in powerblock website. thanks!
If you’re talking about this one https://www.walmart.com/ip/PowerBlock-Elite-EXP-5-50-lb-Adjustable-Dumbbells-Stage-1-Single-Dumbbell/46626504?fulfillmentIntent=Shipping the walmart one is only 1 dumbell and I think the woot one is a set (2?)
Correct, this deal on woot is for a set, the Walmart price is for a single.
Thanks!! Did not notice the single --hopefully the amazon one is a set
Elite EXP has a different handle than the 2 here on Woot and is always color coded. The handle has 5 tubes between the sides. One you grab for exercises. Two are tubes for the 2.5 lb adder weights. Finally, the EXP has two foam wrapped tubes that are next to your wrists.
I noticed some people don’t like the foam tubes next to their wrists. Woot had EXP in the spring 2023, and I went for them. I have no issues and probably use them 5 days a week. It can even help with stabilization.
So, to be clear, in order to have up to 90 lbs, one would have to order all 3 stages, correct?
Correct
Will the Powerblock kettlebell handle fit these? Or do the Pro series have a different handle?
The ones on Woot have a different handle than Pro. So, you wouldn’t be able to get that accessory.
Powerblock has a adjustable kettleblock too: 18-35lb and 35-62 lbs. Woot had them. I kick myself for not getting the 62 lb at Woot’s discounted price. Here’s hoping for Woot 2024.
