For this brand you’re getting a good low risk & low price air fryer for the novice user.
What are the advanced user levels of an air fryer? And how does one qualify? Is it frequency, quantity, or complexity of use?
For example, how would you rate someone who makes pizza rolls or similar 4x a week vs someone who only uses occasionally but will make something like salmon (from scratch)?
I don’t have an air fryer, but I think his description is a reasonable summary of this product: it’s low-cost, entry-level for someone like me who has no experience with one before. If I try it and don’t like it, it’s a relatively small investment compared to other models. If I do like it, I might want to move up to a larger or more powerful model, which would be the ones you’d refer to as being for an “advanced” user.
I bought this brand in a 4 quart, they look the same. It works so much better than a cheaper one that broke after just a few months, and a more useful size than the 2 quart. It seems well made. Lowe’s had the 4 quart on sale for $50. Target matched their price.
Yeah, so it’s an air fryer. I really don’t know how much more “power” one would need. I asked because I can make much more than frozen nuggets in this, so I don’t know if this should be limited to “the novice user” because as far as I know, with an air fryer all you do is set the temperature and time.
So idk, I’m wondering if now I’m ready to move up to an advanced or pro level- whatever that means. As I thought I was doing more than just novice things in this bad boy lol.
Well a “more powerful” heating appliance would literally be able to output more heat and/or do so faster or to a larger volume of food. It’s not a meaningless distinction. Haven’t you ever shopped microwave ovens before, as another example?
Beyond that, as I wrote, I don’t own one of these, so I’m not sure if there’s also a difference in functionality/usability with the more expensive models. There might very well be models that have features that new users won’t take advantage of, so the “novice/pro” designation is probably reasonable.
Exactly. Thanks for your thoughts and opinions anyway.
