Prana does do real quality in fabric and construction.
Have 2 items from last year that are doing well.

I agree with the statement above. The gusseted crotch is a game changer. I just wish they offered more than the same two pair i have already purchased. The strap across the bottom of the shoe is pretty wide as shown in the picture(s) but it wont cover your whole shoe like JNCOs did back in the day. They also run a little big than what i am used to. Order a size down or wash in hot water to get some shrinkage. Hope this helps.

I bought these off here two weeks ago. They were 10.00 less.

If there were a different wash or whatever, I’d buy another pair, though.
They’re really comfortable.

Interesting factoid: prAna is a division of Columbia Sportswear.

It was started by a couple who wanted to make sustainably sourced clothing.
Was sold in 2014 for $190 million to Columbia Sportswear.

How stretchy are they? Also, do you feel like your :soccer::soccer: have room to breath or are they just getting smashed into your legs? This is in no way a humble brag, just a fact of my life that slimmer cut jeans tend to be extremely uncomfortable for me because my nether regions need some extra room to move around or else I start to sweat and …. I don’t need to finish that sentence for you (or anyone else answering the question to get the point).

These are a relaxed fit with a gusseted crotch that is standard for mtn climbers/boulderers.
Guys that do kick boxing who felt jeans limited them to the groin have been able to do spin-kicks to the head in these. Close to Chuck Norris Action Jeans.
Cyclists also like them.
They are a durable medium denim that can be worn anywhere jeans are appropriate. (office/hiking/bar)
However, not THE most breathable fabric but great for jeans. Dry faster than most.
Axiom makes 1% and 2% stretch jeans… These are the 1%ers.

I am talking myself into these.

These jeans are extremely comfortable and look pretty good, BUT the gusseted crotch has worn through in a matter of months on every pair I’ve owned, (which is 6 pairs, for the record). They REALLY needed to put the seams on the inside at the gusset. Walking around just causes too much friction there with this design.

Wow,
That is a design problem.
It looks like they are nearly sold out now.
Sorry for your loss. 6 pair adds up.

Hope people come back to comment if they also had an issue.

Thanks the info. They sold out in my size/preferred color, but you did inspire me to try the Prana “Bridger” style sold on the big site. Those are 2% spandex, so hopefully lots of stretch.

Have to ask
If you still have 6 pair, could you sacrafice 1 of those for fabric and have the others redone by a tailor in the way you’d like them?
Less $$ out and you would have 5 usable pairs.
