Has anyone else had problems using Amazon points on Woot? Due to fraud I had to change my Amazon credit card and I have put it into the form of payment for Woot. If I use my credit card, the order goes right through but despite having the total of points on the payment, the order using points is denied. This did not used to be a problem on the old credit card. Incidentally, my points work just fine on the mothership (Amazon) so the problem I think lies within Woot and not with Amazon.I’ve contacted customer service twice with no reply so I wanted to ask our fellow Wooters if they have had this problem and what is the solution? Thanks very much for your help.
Idk the answer to your question, but it is strange it worked before & not now.
What I do know is we can’t use Amazon GCs to pay for Woot purchases, depsite Amazon Pay being the processing system, and that’s annoying.

I’ll leave a note to staff but it is the weekend so it’s probably not going to be looked at until Monday at the earliest.
With that said, using points in the past often came with some delays in payment processing. More than once I’ve lost out a deal because of the extra time involved – so I haven’t bothered anytime recently.
(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)
Have you gone to your payment wallet on amazon.com and set your new card as the default card?
Then log in/out of woot and Amazon to sync them.
Logged in and out with woot password.
Then logged out and in with Amazon.
Order is still being denied.
Does the address on your new card exactly match the address on your account(s)?
Exactly. Even to the 9 digit ZIP Code.

I’m asking. It’s not something in our control - it’s all Amazon code.
Could you please find out who I need to contact by email or by telephone straighten this out? I would genuinely appreciate it.
Best guess for customers would be Amazon Pay.
I have sent an email to customer support and Amazon pay. I will let you know how this turns out.

I did a test order and an order came through paid with points. Someone at Amazon Pay must have flipped a switch.

Finally got an answer from the Amazon Pay people.
Shopping with Points is more restrictive for new customers and new payment methods on Woot because addressing point misuse more challenging.
