Were those regular, cotton briefs or athletic ones?
Agree with other comment. I have bought two packages of these and half of them rip on the side just below the waistband.
With the $5 shipping, same price at Amazon Prime.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, I purchased two packs of these (the athletic ones) from Woot and love them. They’ve all held up, they feel great and stay nice and snug all day.
I can’t stand boxer briefs that get too loose and saggy throughout the day!
I bought a pack of these about six months ago from Woot. They are my best set of briefs. I’ve tried Hanes, Reebock, and another brand, all were not as comfortable as these. I bought three more sets. I have 38" waist and bought XL’s. Maybe you’re buying them too tight?
Got a few pair for Christmas and although it’s only been a month they’re already my favorite boxer briefs. They’re holding up pretty well, fit is very comfortable and as others point out, they stay snug fitting throughout the day not getting stretched out and riding up like my cotton ones do. The only thing I don’t like is the lack of a fly. No access flap can be a hassle sometimes, but IMHO the fit is worth it. Thing is, they’re the same price at my local Costco so I’ll probably just buy them there, …if they start tearing in the seams or generally don’t hold up, Costco will always take them back no questions.
I’ve bought these every time they’re available. What other people have said about them ripping at the seams is true, but I wear mine to the gym, out running, etc. and the comfort is definitely worth the trade off for comfort vs durability. Whenever the stitches do rip, it’s the stitching that connects the elastic waste band to the brief, so if you’re handy with sewing you could easily resew and reinforce that. Me? I’ll just be lazy and buy new every so often.
having NO pee hole SUCKS and it should be listed in the description. What a disappointment…
