This thing isn’t really very useful other than as an external storage device. The processor QNAP used in this is primarily targeted at phones… so it’s pretty under powered. If you really need a NAS, you’d probably do better buying one of the older generation i5 refurbished desktop PCs from woot!, upgrading the HDDs and installing NAS4Free (XigmaNAS) on it.
