Think of how much more useful this posting could have been with an actual specs list, or legible pictures of the power outlets. I assume AC outlets and a DC 12 volt/10 amp are on the side, and I’m hoping that those two tiny things with unreadable labeling on the front are 5 amp barrel plugs (but they could be solar input - and what’s the spec on that)? But if you just look at the pics they’ve given, this looks like it’s a huge thing that things via USB A and C only.
Not much info on the web, just some videos. Last sold on the mothership for &500.00
There are better pics on Amazon where it is priced at $1299.
It has a rechargable and removeable light on the back too.
Listing has been updated with more information.
So what’s your verdict please?
Rayovac has been making mediocre AA batteries for years. Having said that, there isn’t much information on this thing but at 30 cents a Wh, you will not find a power station much cheaper than this unless you go the DIY route and even then, 25 cents/Wh is usually hard to find for LiFePo batteries. I might get one. The 200 Watt solar panel is a good deal as well at less than 50 cents a watt. Of course it’s all on paper and this stuff could end up being worth as much as a boat anchor.
1,008Wh = 315 Ah of capacity with LifePO4 cells. Closest comparable would be a 12V @ 80Ah battery, which would offer 1,024Wh of capacity.. Then one needs to source a 1000w pure sine wave inverter, a MPPT charge controller for the solar, an AC charge controller for powering from the grid, wiring, and something to hold everything together in an easy to carry package.
Yeah, I’m not sure a DIY route would be any cheaper.
The only caveat is whether 1,000 watts is enough. For large appliances such as a refrigerator, the running watts is probably okay but that startup surge from the compressor might still not be enough.
(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums)
Pulled the trigger on this unit and an additional 100 watt panel for $64. I have a universal 300 watt, but $65 is a cheap backup option. Won’t arrive until July, but can provide an update at that time. Around 70% off the normal price- likely can’t go wrong.
Ordered one. Estimated delivery date was 07/07. UPS tracking now shows something went wrong and there is no delivery date. Contacted UPS and they confirmed package probably got lost and advised to reach out to Woot support. Fun fact, Woot support wont move a finger until 07/07, even tho UPS confirmed package is lost/not available. All I want is to receive the unit.
Thank you. My bad that I didn’t notice or think to check until today. I appreciate you updating regardless.
My order has been “preparing for shipment” since 6/20. ETA 7/3. Came and went and still preparing for shipment. Contacted woot support- also said package lost in transit and would send a replacement and confirmation email to follow- that was a week and a half ago and still nothing. I also would like to receive the item, but I have a sinking feeling this will yet again be another “oops- we #%*!=! Up- here’s a refund”
My order date is 06-23-25 with 07-07-25 as ETA and preparing for shipment as others have commented.
YAHTZEE! WOOT strikes again! I’m sorry, but we are now showing both items are lost in shipping and no remaining stock available- would you like us to process a refund for you?
I’m so very tired of ordering things through woot, “shipping issues” for 2-4 weeks and be issued a refund. I’m not in the business of giving companies short term loans. Feeling burned and busted by WOOT. Did anyone actually receive this item?
I ordered one, as well, 24 June, with a anticipated delivery date of 8 July. UPS app says a label has been created, same day as ordering, but “UPS has not reveived the package yet.” Losing faith with everyone’s accounting of their experience, and dissapointed.
This type of thing seems to be happening more often.
Add me to the list of individuals who purchased this only to have it go somewhere into the ether.
Sadly I also purchased the solar panel, which did actually arrive. Not a ton of use to be had out of that without the power station.
UPDATE: Got a notification from UPS that it had been delivered! After my lap around the house looking for it and not seeing it, I checked the UPS app. The app said:
Returned to the shipper because of a hazardous materials irregularity, but it never left Wichita (where the distributor is located).
Someone, anyone, please help me understand how this can get so jacked up??
I know it’s no consolation but here is a listing on the Mothership for a Diehard 999 watt hour unit at a cost of $ 359 (which is similar in watt hours to this Rayovac unit).
While we wait for resolution…
Mine is also stuck in preparing for shipment. I contacted woot support and they gave the generic response of a full refund or contact seller for a replacement options. I obviously want it. I ordered solar panels and those came in a few weeks ago.
Interesting - when I reached out today, they told me to just keep waiting… my eta was today, but apparently I need to “wait a few more days” for shipping information.
