This listing makes no sense. A 24 pack of these is 14.99 on Amazon. How is an 8 pack $23 and supposedly almost $50 full price?
You have to take Woot’s purchase costs into consideration.
If you think this costs anyone $50 for 8 alkaline batteries then you might also be interested in purchasing a bridge in Brooklyn.
Yeah but if Woot bought them for like $20, they need to make a profit, right? So, $23…
Not how competitive retail works. There are a lot of mom and pop retail stores that no longer exist. Seriously, no one cares that they are gone except the bankrupt owners who could not compete.

Okay, then how about this: the batteries continue to cost $23, and the single can of Monster energy drink keeps its $37 price tag, but Woot also puts up a 4TB NVME SSD for $49?
I think you will be interested in my beachfront property.
