I ordered one of these 1 minute after it was released onto the app, and then a few minutes later my order got cancelled…cmon man
I placed one small five-buck order today, with the full expectation of a cancellation. It was canceled.
These aren’t for you. They’re for people who are going to relist them in their own eBay stores for retail value and make sales off of idiots who don’t know how to shop around the internet. Those people aren’t going to selectively build their carts; they just take the maximum amount of the most desirable items and check out instantly, and then repeat on additional accounts as many times as they can. Most of their orders will get canceled too by the time the inventory system gets reconciled, but the ones that don’t will be enough to pay the rent this month.

You have to watch for the item threads to start appearing and use them to go to the event page and buy stuff instantly instead of waiting for notifications.
Woot probably still experiencing order-overwhelming-syndrome (OOS, 
) causing mass order cancellations, which was why the Woot-off for today was cancelled.

True, I usually get a cancelled because out of stock email though
