New from Walmart for $280… not exactly the same, but seems like it might be a reasonable alternative.

That looks like it’s Japanese spec. Which I was under the impression you couldn’t sell those in the US. If you look at the first image, you’ll see the words in Japanese at the bottom.
Im looking to buy a switch but i do not understand all the different editions. Japan, international, refurbished, v1, v2, etc.
This refurbished switch is the North America edition?
And is there a way to find out who reurbished it?
Also, does the oled model have a v1 or v2?
Would a refurbished north american model be better than a new japan or international model?
Does this refurbished switch have a warranty because its refurbished or is it like buying used, at your own risk?
As per the listing, there’s a 90 day Woot warranty, though you can purchase a separate Asurion plan through Amazon.
(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
Yeah, it is an international version… IDK what the differences are, if any… but the price has dropped to $267.
The seller details are interesting and I couldn’t find any warranty information. Only a 30-day return period.
If you want to risk it, you should buy over there:
It’s like Luigi’s Mansion but worse.
I wanna try Luigi’s Mansion!
Let’s play!
2 HD is coming out this year. Do I want that, or 3?
2 HD is hiding out in the Switch OLED sale
- Well, the last Mario Bros game which I got, was not great. (Super Mario 3D All-Stars)
- Thought the release was later this year, so I closed the tab of the Google results. Just looked again. Cool. It was 27/6.
We’re mostly Mario Party fans at our house. We lovingly refer to the kiddos as Mario and Luigi.
I bought a Logitech 3S mouse here and found it $5 cheaper on the mothership… almost fell for this too…. Got to do research before pulling the trigger. Also it’s much easier to return/exchange there if there are issues.
Especially this week with Prime Days. prices are moving around all over.
Bought and doesn’t connect to wifi… wonderful. Gotta stop with the refurb junk
