Is this really 600 games, or maybe 6 games with 100 variation on each?
I thought the same thing almost immediately. Itās one thing to see these products on questionable websites or places that ship these consoles from China. But to see it on Woot? Really? Itās OK now to sell low-quality knockoffs with unauthorized versions of the games?
I guess if you have an opportunity to rip-off unsuspecting customers, AND giant software companies in one shot, you take it huh, Woot?

Because unless and until they receive a DMCA notice by the copyright holder, they arenāt legally obligated to take it down just because some people on the internet say that they should. Yeah, they COULD suspend the sale, contact the seller, and ask for verification that this is a legit item, but they donāt have to just because some customer said they should. Someone said they were going to contact Nintendo and try and get a cease and disist, that is the correct way of handling it.
People are questioning the morality, not the strict legality.

Back when woot was a fledgling startup under Matt Rutledge, maybe, MAYBE this would have passed, (though I doubt it). But today under Amazonās global umbrella, this is going to get someone fired.

I dunno, manā¦ The world is a lot bigger than the (Iām randomly estimating here) forty or so people interested enough in this to come to a woot community forum about this specific product.

They have had Fukubukuros (which were āgoodā bags), and Fukobukuros (which were ābadā bags).
Until May 20th, 2016, the latter were only on April 1st, but they replaced the fukus with fukos.
They officially killed off the Fukos after the final listing on July 9th, 2018, and will be selling IRKS.

Yeah, this is a poor product in so many ways. Had I known it was an illegitimate product I would not have purchased. Seeing as this is not returnable (unlike the other woot purchases I have made) Iām totally unhappy with Woot.
