Plenty of comments about the dubiousness of the machine itself.

The games are a whole other story. Usually these come with terribly sourced ROMs. They try and get around copyright by including ROM hacks and homebrew. And when the interface to access them is garbage, sifting through 800 items to find a handful of OK games is just not worth it. Not to mention they’re built with a single chip and you can’t really modify them in any way.

I’ve even seen YouTubers review things like this and have them crash on certain ROMs.

I could rant about these for days…

I sent a note to Nintendo of America asking them to verify this system was properly licensed through them. If I hear back from them, I’ll post the response.

Weird that Woot would post this. Obviously illegal. And even uses a fake picture intentionally to mislead. Am I missing something? Does Woot allow third-party sellers or are they just greedy?

Except that list posted only has 250 games on it - not even half of what’s supposed to be on there. What are the other 550+ games???

See, is super legal, it says so right in the title! Quality though? This seems like something you would see on Tophatter. I agree the first pic is VERY misleading.

Doesn’t show the list of games which are most likely stolen.

if this is a SN-02 there is a concern that there are no actual super nintendo games on it… just regular NES games.

I love this sale and I love how meta the writeup is. It’s almost like the pre-Amazon days of woot. Did it really sell out (I doubt this) or was woot bullied into withdrawing it by these self-appointed internet police?

I purchased one of these. It is essentially an NES. They use a special chip that the NES is entirely in the chip. It runs 8bit games OK. Super Mario Brothers, A CLASSIC, runs like crap. Bad frame rate and lag in controls. But other games do play well. Big issue is the menu sucks for finding games. A lot of the games are gameboy color rips or foreign games in other languages. Decent buy for the kids. You can get this exact console for like 5 bucks on wish.com I think. Several sites sell it for 25 or under. Do not pay over 25.
It can’t be hacked. Can’t add games that I can tell as the file format is weird. If you remove the sdcard the system boots into a weird tetris like game. Also for anyone who buys this and finds Controller 2 is the one to navigate the menu then open the thing up real fast and swap the cables on the controllers. Mine was backwards. Also these controllers have A and B, the light colored buttons and shoulder buttons are just turbo of A and B.
