I apologize if this information was provided and I’m just missing it! But how does one warm up this heating pad? I see the instructions for cooling it, but I don’t see method of warming. I mean…does it get heated in the microwave? If so, for how long? I ask this because I would really like to avoid this item blowing up in my microwave. TIA! ![]()

I think this is one where you click a thing to activate it but I’m checking with the buyer.

Ok, so per the vendor: The simple click of a “activation trigger” starts a unique, instant crystallization process that produces heat up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit within seconds. These heat pads can produce therapeutic heat from 30 minutes to two hours or more, Heat times are extended by using any form of insulation. After use, the spent heat pack can be recharged by simply placing it in hot water for a few minutes and following the simple instructions included on each pad.
Theres a little metal piece inside, looks about the size of a nickle. You need to use a couple fingers to “click” it. Easy to do and kinda fun watching it crystalize! You’ll need a pretty big stock pot to heat up water to return them back to original form.

I’m totally confused. I just received mine & the instructions on the box for both types say to boil it for 20-30 minutes. That seems CRAZY! Plus if I’m using either of these things, it means I’m in major pain, battling a migraine or really sick so worrying about boiling it for so long (after waiting for water to boil) seems rather counterproductive at best. ![]()

Could you double check? I believe you have to boil it to reset the heat activation dohicky thing.
