Why are there so many Peanuts shirts lately? I saw one of the last few derbies had 3 or 4 Snoopy shirts.
The artists can submit what they like, and Snoopy does get votes. It would be nice to see more cat shirts.
(Please Note: Iâm not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
I think the real reason is that @kg07 did a few snoopy shirts a few years ago (and lots since) that sold exceptionally well and other artists have jumped on the bandwagon hoping to sell more designs for themselves. I would personally support a âno snoopyâ rule going forward because itâs ridiculous. Not seeing sales match the votes, unfortunately.
Thatâs like me telling you not to draw beer bottles, beer references, or words on your shirts.

Donât blame Snoopy for the huge mismatch between sales and votes that frequently occurs with some artists. I know my Snoopy design last week only got 38 votes and sold almost 250 shirts. I think the voting problems go way beyond our loveable beagle. #freeSnoopy
I MADE A CAT ONCE
IT WAS YOUR BEST WORK.
was it day drinking?
@Narfcake , is that you?
I love seeing artists helping other artists.
What did you make it do?
hit paws
I wouldnât mind either, but generally, I shy away from pop culture mashup designs anyway.
Umm âŚ
On a different paw:
Iâm thinking @jasneko holds the record for most catshirtswoot designs, though.
That probably also explains why I have several months worth of her designs, though a number of them were purchased from elsewhere too.
YOU OUTED ME!
Be thankful the search didnât include this design, which also has a cat:
Thatâd make it 17.
Agreed. No more Peanuts. Zero relevance.
