Just as an FYI for folks, Beyond Scooters is no longer in business. So you won’t be able to get any support from them for this scooter, and obtaining any replacement parts if needed may be challenging.
Wow, that is good to know. I went to their site & got a pop-up that says
“Beyond is no longer in business!
Any scooter you purchased or see for sale online is a closeout item, was not sold by us, is no longer supported, nor under warranty. All scooters are sold as-is and given the inherent dangers of electric scooters, careful attention needs to be placed to the safety precautions in the section linked below.”
I wonder why their site is still up.
Edit: it looks like they are still selling rideshare subscriptions in NYC. I wonder if they just stopped selling scooters to consumers directly. More profitable to rent.
Anyway lack of product support on a $300+ product doesn’t sound too good.
My understanding is they’re completely shut down, but happy to be proven wrong if they’re still selling subscriptions. Wouldn’t surprise me though if it’s a mistake and they just forgot to take that page down.
