Ring Floodlight Camera

Ring Floodlight Camera

When I installed mine I posted a picture of it with roberto too, with the caption:
For some reason my security camera doesn’t make me feel secure

Do you need the Ring Service to view the camera feeds, or just store them? I’m not looking to store video, just get alerts when they activate and allow me to see what’s there through my camera or PC.

You do not need the Ring subscription to view a live video or to get notifications that there is movement in front of the camera. But, you do need the subscription if you want to view or save videos from the past.

Has anyone ever purchased used Ring devices equipment and have you had any problems with it

I purchased these in late Dec of last year. Still haven’t gotten around to installing them but they came packaged up as if they were new. I’ll need to find a good decent day to swamp out my current ones. I know fancy packaging does not equate for build quality but they look good.

Yes, ring indoor cam was unable to link into my ring system/account. Return was a pain

I have Ring Pro doorbell and Ring StickUp wired cam over the garage door. Doorbell replaced a NuTone intercom, install was more challenging than most, but have it all documented with pics if you need it. Stickup cam is installed inverted with a ceiling mount kit. Both have worked flawlessly and the Ring app is user friendly. Connection to Orbi wireless router is steady.

I bought this one and it didn’t work when I hooked it up. The lights came on, but the camera part was inoperative. I called Ring support and a replacement is coming. Amazon, Ring, Woot… all the same company. Ring customer service is an absolute joy, I must say.

I bought a refurbished one. I hooked it up and the camera didn’t work. I called Ring and they sent a refurbished replacement. After a few months, it started acting up. The lights would come on multiple times for no apparent reason. I adjusted the sensor and turned the camera super low and it works a little better. I have a new, not refurbished, on the front of my house, which sees a lot of action, it has worked beautifully for several years. My advise… buy the camera, but only buy it NEW.

I like in an area where we lose power frequently and I have to use a Cpap machine so I like having backup
