I purchased this keyboard from WOOT two months ago for $49.99 and am delighted with its quality and performance. The rgb lighting is amazing, though I use it primarily for typing as opposed to gaming. That’s why I purchased the brown tactile switches because they give more feedback for typing. The “swarm” software downloaded and works perfectly with Win 10 and allowed me to assign macros, change key mapping and control the lighting. Been using for two months and couldn’t be more pleased! I now know why everyone raves about “mechanical” keyboards. Excellent value!

All of my primary keyboards are mechanical as I learned typing on a typewriter decades ago. I’m very used to long-travel keystrokes and a tactile response.

I’m not fond of the brown switches, but the red switches they sold this with in one of the last listings are impeccable

My cat also loves mechanical keyboards. I’ve been meaning to get the silent switches or the thing you cover the switches with to make them silent. My cat goes berserk when I start typing a lot or playing a game xD it’s made me want to make a special cat mechanical keyboard he can click because he gets to making anything close by a scratch post when I type lol

I tried to use a silent membrane keyboard (yes the cat thing got that bad lol) - I missed a lot of characters due to being too used to the responsiveness of mechanical keyboards. So there’s no going back for me lol but I’m still using an ancient Corsair k70 rapidfire. She gets the job done.

Highly recommend a soft keyboard hand rest. I got a HyperX keyboard wrist wrest cushion thing on sale awhile back for like $7 and its the best purchase ever. The plastic one before worked fine but the memory foam ones are even better. Tho for the mouse I prefer not to have the wrist wrest

Just got one and replaced the built in plastic one in 5 min with a screwdriver to remove it and some sturdy 3M 2-sided tape to attach the new pad; I loved it so much I immediately bought another for my mouse hand

Good stuff ! Love the set up! I’m thinking about grabbing one for my mouse pad as well. I got a cheap Belkin one that’s just a little too small, I think the long version would actually be good to use. Love the piano keyboard and stuff tho!

I also have pudding keycaps! I had some g.skill crystal keycaps but theyre extremely bright! So I ended up trading them to a guy on eBay for a PSU xD met him buying a z270 pro gaming carbon (ancient but great Mobo) . The g skills are Basically pudding caps w/o the light diffusion

Your cat is trying to distract you so he can take over.

Hmm I have always said he looks at me like he’s plotting against me all the time so I feel like this is accurate xD
