There isn’t a cookie or brownie on the face of this planet worth 11.20 a lb unless it has THC, or at least 50% abv in it. Plain and simple as that.

There isn’t a cookie or brownie on the face of this planet worth 11.20 a lb unless it has THC, or at least 50% abv in it. Plain and simple as that folks. You can buy the ingredients to make 100 times better for under $10, and make a **itload of them.

I feel it unfair to compare a packaged food to a homemade one. The extra cost is in the labor, packaging, and transport, aka the convenience factor, so unless you are factoring those in it is an apples-to-oranges comparison. Sometimes homemade is impractical or undesirable so we resort to pre-packaged. Now by all means please provide links to an equivalent product that costs less.

As someone who bakes at home, a lot…using high quality ingredients is NOT inexpensive. Using cheap ingredients is. It’s not apples to oranges.

Suggestion to Woot, can you just delete the daily rush to be the first person to complain about price? These comments add NOTHING to the board for those who might actually be interested in the offered product. Someone can do the math if they want to.

Someone can also just simply ignore the posts, or even Mute/Ignore the poster if they want to.

I very much appreciate the comments about the price, also those from people with other constructive input, either good or bad. I make my own decisions, but information from others can be helpful. Plus, I love not having to do the math.

Thus also added nothing to the board. Ty

Suggestion to Woot, can you just include the price per unit weight/volume up front as a matter of course (like every grocer does for every item) instead of treating it like you have something to hide?

Suggestion to Woot, can you include a description of the smell & texture of every food item? We lose out on that by not being able to examine the food in person.

Actually not a bad idea. I know poster is trying to be sarcastic, but there are no Amazon reviews for the product; Woot could have some volunteers pop a few boxes and post their opinion.

I’ll volunteer as a taste tester for Woot!
Danger is my middle name:joy::rofl:!

As far as people opining about price, it let’s Woot! Know what their customer’s are thinking.

I look at it more of a $1 a cookie or $2 a brownie. Which if you think of a bakery etc isn’t too bad a price but I also think at the bulk they’re being bought at it’s not a particular good deal.

Maybe they’re amazing though? Anyone actually eaten one of these?

I very much appreciate the comments on price as well. It helps everyone make an informed decision. As do the comments talking about it being homemade and not prepackaged garbage. To each their own. Enough with the censorship of everything someone might not like read online.

I’ve been to plenty of retailers that don’t have the per pound/unit/etc. price listed. They aren’t hiding anything, and frankly I don’t get why you always convinced Woot is doing all it can to deceive people. If they list the price, the number of items, and the weight of the items, then all the information is there.

As I’m sure you’re aware, Woot gets their info from Amazon or their vendors. They don’t have the items on hand themselves and rely on the information they receive from others. If something isn’t included, if you ask about it, TT or another member of Woot’s staff do what they can to track the information down. Most retailers don’t do that. Most retailers wouldn’t even begin to entertain the idea of having forums like this where anyone can come along and complain every day. Woot does because it understands the value of engaging the community. If they were truly trying to deceive people, don’t you think they would have banned you or otherwise tried to limit your comments? (No, that’s not a threat. I don’t have that kind of power as a vmod, nor would I ask TT to do that.)

It’s frustrating to me personally (obviously I don’t speak for Woot) that you’re always trying to bring them down. I don’t get it and I don’t see the point in it. But obviously you are free to keep doing it. Again, most retailers wouldn’t allow that.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums. The above is all me and no one else so please don’t assume otherwise.)

That’s pathetically childish. Woot can’t even deploy good sycophants.

Literally every major grocer out here has a shelf tag with price, weight, and price per unit weight or count on everything. Lucky. Safeway. Nob Hill. Save Mart. Food Maxx. Even Costco… and (surprise!) Whole Foods.
