Where I work we have four of these in the lobby. First time I saw them they were all in art mode and I did a double take. I honestly couldn’t tell if they were framed posters or TVs. Upon close inspection it was obvious, but everyone that has seen them in art mode has commented on how natural they look.
I bought last year’s model here on Woot. It was a couple hundred cheaper and had a wall mount. There’s really no point to buy it if you’re not going to mount it flush on the wall.
Having said that, I love it. I have mounted it on a wall with other artwork in the dining room. Looks great on or when displaying images.
Okay, I looked, last year’s refurb, which came like new, was $579, with the wall mount. The only thing that looked like it had been rewrapped was the external box.
How is the sound on these? Since this is mounted flush to the wall, where are the speakers?
Speakers are on the bottom. Sounds fine. If you hook up a soundbar or HT, you do it thru the external box.
