Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Wireless Earbuds (Grade A Refurbished)

Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Wireless Earbuds (Grade A Refurbished)

Just received the earbuds and so far they work OK and the earbuds themselves & the case are in like-new condition. I understand these are a refurb but I was pretty disappointed to see they were shipped with used, dirty earbud tips full of ear wax. Obviously not Woot’s fault, but I’m not happy with Samsung. This is completely disgusting, especially in a pandemic when everyone should be minimizing exposure to other people’s bodily ā€œproductsā€, to have a stranger’s DNA smeared all over an item that’s meant to have close physical contact for proper usage is pretty outrageous. It would have cost Samsung next to nothing to ship these with NEW ear tips. But I’m so, so grossed out. I’m using these with a set of tips from some older earbuds, but the tips meant for these Galaxy Buds Pro have a proprietary fit with little notches. I’m going to do some digging to see if there’s a way to get new tips from Samsung, but if anyone from Woot sees this… could you please let your supplier know this is not okay.

Oh that’s not right at all. You should contact Woot’s Customer Service. Maybe they can offer up a solution.

Hi there, if you haven’t already done so please reach out to Woot! Customer Service.

From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.

In the Woot! App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)

Earbuds just arrived and they are not in ā€œGrade Aā€ condition. They are disgusting and the packaging was completely destroyed by the packing department. The packing list was printed on a sticker sheet, and they slapped it onto the box ruining the packaging.

I opened the box to assess the buds and everything inside the box had also gotten tossed around — there is OBVIOUS residue from earwax or something from the prior person. The accessories have earwax, there was residue in the charging case… absolutely retchingly yuck

Hi there. I’m sorry for the condition. As noted above, please reach out to Woot customer service.

Believe me, I have. I only hope the set I get as a replacement actually got inspected

Samsung (USA) has a deal now. you can get the 512 gb galaxy s-tab 7 (normally $800) and brand new galaxy bud pros (MSRP $199) for a total of $461. plus 4 months of YouTube premium,

So, I contacted Woot support and was offered:

  • $15 refund if I kept the gross earbuds
  • Full refund if I send them back

I was told ā€˜the supplier no longer has any stock to replace your order with’ so I opted to return them. Broken box, gross earwax infested buds, not keeping them!

… looking on the site … they clearly ARE in stock. What gives!? Why couldn’t they replace them?

Hi there. It looks like this was a miss on our end - the rep probably didn’t realize this was still being sold on our site. Our CS team should have just emailed you about a possible replacement - apologies for the mistake!

This happens a lot on all sorts of online retailers and oems. Pretty gross

@lioncow Thanks for picking up the ball. A new pair was sent, and despite the retail box being beat up quite a bit, the actual earbuds and accessories were in excellent condition. I charged up the buds, replaced the earips, and they work as they should - 360 sound, noise reduction, and battery life are all as expected.

Thank you for clearing this one up. I still think that Amazon/Woot need to do better inspection of incoming stock … the earwax really was super gross with the original buds that were shipped.

Still, all is well that ends well!
