You’re definitely going to need warranty because the curved screen edges on this phone are so overkill to a point that no case or glass screen protector can protect those edges.
I had to pay $290+ to get it fixed from a simple 3-foot drop at work… it didn’t just cracked the glass but also made half the screen go black + flickering from that simple drop.
Went out of my way to glue on those glass screen protectors… then after dropping it again during a road trip and finding out that even the glass screen protector failed to do its job, I said f*** you to all curved screen edge phones + not paying Samsung to fix an expensive problem again that could easily been avoided if they had end this stupid curved screen edge gimmick… and that’s not including another issue where most phone cases for this Note 20 Ultra don’t cover up the curved screen edges for some dumb reason… that is unless you buy big money for the big bulky Otter cases.
It sucks too because this is the last Samsung phone to have a microSD card slot… and annoying that it took 4 years for Samsung (and Google) to FINALLY get rid of the stupid curved edge screen with the S24 Ultra (and Pixel 8 Pro).
