I bought one on April 3rd - when they cost $5 more - and I love it. Wootâs shipping is getting so much better. I guess things come from Amazon warehouses around the country. Mine came from NJ. The phone is like new. They onl thing that surprised me is that you canât use a microSD card. Itâs called âcard freeâ.
Will this work with consumer cellular? I had an unlocked s9 from here that worked on att, but voice wont work with consumer cellular who uses att. Its like ATT blocks the calls for those through a reseller.
Do these have the specific model number like
Galaxy S20 5G (SM-G981U*, SM- G981U1,
SM-G981W, SM-G981B, SM-G981B/DS) ?
I guess there is a verizon version which does not have provisions for a microsd card.
So I need to replace my S10e as there is no longer going to be updates for it.
I REALLY like having a micro sd card, so Iâm looking to get an s20 since itâs the last model with an sd card slot.
If I purchase this Grade A refurbished phone, will it have an sd card slot AND will it work with AT&T? The forum responses here have me a little bit confusedâŚ
thanks!!
Not all of them work with at&t this might help. From at&t compatible phones partial list. The ones with *need some sort of update. It has something to do with Volte which is used for voice on 4g lte.
I think AT&T still uses that for voice calls.

The listing says fully unlocked - if so, the phone should work with AT&T.
What you would do is buy the phone, and then upon receiving it, you would need to swap your SIM to the new IMEI number of the new phone via at&t online or customer support (live chat works) and ask them to activate it. Since itâs unlocked there shouldnât be an issue. The model numbers refers to locked phones that are at&t branded.
Totally get wanting your sdCard! S20 is the best bet if you ask me, itâs a fast phone.
Thank you so much, I didnât even realize how many different models there would beđł
Thank you for explaining all that, I really appreciate it! It certainly would have taken a lot more time for me to figure out on my own⌠I have no idea when I became so technically challenged
No problem! Gonna want the SIM card number usually foubd on your sim card itself as well for your cell provider. You can usually find the IMEI number on the box if you have it, sometimes on the back of the phone, or in the phone settings. Itâs basic a device number. used to be able to just swap sims without all that as long as they were both active sims, but now I guess to curb thieves or something you have to report to your cell provider what device youâre using with your sim by providing them the IMEI number. Phone upgrades used to be all on the cell provider end. Still can be, but much better options financially with DIY.
*#06# from your dial keypad will usually pull up the imei number or in settings like the other wooter said. There are some 10e that still show compatible with at&t
Galaxy S10e (SM-G970U*, SM-
G970U1*, G970W, G970F, G970F/DS
yes me to, I never realized all the different variations. I would be ordering one if I knew which one I would get. The grade A refurbs I have ordered from here in the past have been in like new condition.
I to really want that sd card slot. They stopped putting them in after the s20.
Cool!
