I have one of these I got through Samsung maybe a year ago. It’s… fine?
I like that it has a microSD slot and removable battery. I have a screen protector + case on it, and have dropped it on more job sites than I can count, and it works fine. It slows up in the cold and the moisture sensor in the charging port is very sensitive. The battery life is OK unless you have the screen on a lot or are taking a lot of pictures. You can customize the side button for a couple different options. The main rear camera (16 MP) is fine but sometimes slow and doesn’t zoom, the zoom-capable camera is not great. I like the flexibility of the Android OS.
The one I have now is actually an exchange for the first one I got. That one had an issue where it registered phantom taps. Replacing it was a hassle - it’s not a common model so most repair options require mail-in, and even getting to the mail-in-repair/replace part with Samsung required a lot of back and forth. The replacement I got has had no obvious issues so far so maybe just a defective model?
This is waaay cheaper than it was through Samsung, as well.
