I truly love this monitor - for productivity. I had a bad outcome from eye surgery and my old monitor was too small. I went to try a 43” 4K Monitor thinking the bigger fonts might be better on my eyes but I’m my eyes had to travel further up and down. Tried this monitor and was great. I’m sure that for gaming it would be nice but I love it for business apps/snapping windows.
That said / direct from the Samsung shop (.com) last month I bought a NEW Neo G9 with discounts on the site for $1389.00 to my door.
You may want to check there first. I think the Samsung monitor prices ALSO drop in June/July is the lowest prices before Black Friday.[quote=“Wooter326735841, post:2, topic:1035939, full:true”]

FYI: you have to click additional discounts for either you or a family member being in education, a student, a first responder (law enforcement or medical field/nurse) or have a work program discount. I work for an eligible company.

I just googled this exact monitor and it’s exactly the same price brand new, direct from Samsung. This is WTF pricing
Thanks for the note. I’ll let our team know.
Update: Not the same. Ours is the Neo G9 which is $1899 on Samsung.
The one that the above Wooter326735841 bought direct from Samsung NEW at $1283 was also a Neo G9. And he event included the receipt. This “deal” is a refurbished rip off.
If you follow my link, that’s no longer their price. Probably a promotional sale. He did mention discounts on site.
