Will this upconvert to a Sony
I missed the BOC because I was out taking a power walk/exercise walk with my wife.
Talk about sacrifing for one’s health.

Seeing as how you can get a basic BluRay player for around $100 I would have to say no to this one.
Now for $40 that would actually be a good woot!
I own one and couldn’t be happier with it…not sure what all the bashing is for regarding the reviews but this dvd player hasn’t made me regret buying it once.
Blu-Ray minimum 25mb per second. SD maximum 5mb per second. Upconverting doesn’t compare.
Why? will just be more Dollar store junk coming up next

Not worth it. Spend the money toward a Blu-ray player instead. The upconverted picture on this player is disappointing. And the unit clearanced out for a lot less at Best Buy almost two years ago.
