Hooray! It’s dead!
[QUOTE=amcatanzaro, post:30, topic:158767]
I remember this, I needed the external, not internal.
Please have 5.

Monster charger next

I need to go to bed but I can’t miss out on the banjo pickin’ carp of consternation
[QUOTE=covenant311, post:244, topic:158767]
oh boy. I thought that said AIDS at first. I was thinking it was some racist thing.

You’re just paranoid or have bad eyes. Why not get glasses like the non black guy in the middle of the picture?
[QUOTE=PabloPalmeri6837, post:159, topic:158767]
Yes you are, external won’t typically work with Sata

dummy
that one went quick as hell
I wasn’t on you (despite my best efforts) and don’t know why you keep apologizing. You didn’t do anything to offend to begin with. Just misinterpreted a post, but that happens to me alot. Oh, and once was too many for me…
I was in for one…almost two, but my brother was slow to decide.

750 sold of 750 Gigs. even woot purchasers have fun.
Should I be concerned that it says:
In the box:
• Seagate ST3500630AS 500GB SATA/300 7200RPM Hard Drive

They fixed that, it says 750 now.
In for one. Hope it works.
what a movie.
I mean even after MS3TK it was still atrocious
I wouldn’t touch this. I bought the 500GB Seagate recertifed drive last wootoff and the hard drive was still bad, didn’t seem like they “recertified” anything. I couldn’t even format the drive to use, thats how messed up it was. Woot was no help either, I had to send it back to seagate.
are you kidding me? this is how they send me some previously thought to be broken(recertified) hard drives? stuffed diagonally in a box with an air packer on top only…
i want my money back, i don’t even want to open the packages. seriously woot, what were you thinking? i’ll pay the 5 bucks to ship these things back just how you shipped them to me and you can pass them off at the next woot off or something. i’m still a believer in your cheap deals on shitty electronics, but this is the first time the shipping has been this bad.

I second your outrage. I was completely taken by surprise on this one. One air pillow which may, or may not, have been previously inflated. The anti static wrap is damaged on 2 of 3 from rubbing against it’s neighbors. If they do actually work, can you really trust your data? Shame on you Woot, shame on you. Would a piece of foam or a couple of peanuts really ruined you margin on these?
You do notice that these complaints aren’t from newbies here. It takes a lot for me to complain in the forums.
winer
Just Kidding, hopefully mine doesn’t show up like that. I’ve gotten a couple of HDD before and never had that happen. Been waiting for something like this for the enclosure I bought a long time ago.
