My advice is avoid these oddball deals where they have some overstock and attempt to screw the consumer.

Did you look at the Amazon link you posted? I am guessing not. The images are all in German language. This is odd, right? These are made for the German market and resold in America hence the markup. Something is fishy. Easier to avoid… lol.

- That identifies as a higher priced package but it includes two-yr Rescue Data Recovery Services.
- So the premium in price is for that service / insurance.
Not sure if that is part of this sale. There are other STEB16000402 packages on Amazon for different prices. Hope this helps.

Still cheaper to do this for 279.99. Same 2 year warranty. Then add that data recovery service for 12.99 for 2 years.
Save yourself some money, and do not assume woot will save you money. Woot is just to push excess inventory away. This “deal” is just that.
Notice in your own image it says the 279.99 is the newer version. You pay the premium to get the older German overstock.
