How do you search? I do not see a button
There should be a big “B” for your icon at the top right of the forums. Two buttons to the left of that is an magnifying glass. Click that to search the forums.
If you are trying to search for products on the main woot site, there is not a search functionality due to the items changing all the time. However, you can do a search on @lichme 's http://wootstalker.com/ website. Top right is current sales and there is a search/history menu as well.

There’s 184 pages of deals … and seriously, there’s no SEARCH function? That’s stupid. I will go buy batteries somewhere else.

I use Google directly. In a search field type site:domain.tld search terms
make sure no space after site:
make sure space after domain.tld
so to find patio lights in Woot, type this site:woot.com patio lights
It will result in this > site:woot.com patio lights - Google Search
