Sengled Pulse LED Smart Bulb & JBL Speaker (Pair)

Sengled Pulse LED Smart Bulb & JBL Speaker (Pair)

Will this also pair with Google Home device?
Thanks!

Anyone have first-hand experience with the sound quality? Is it going to sound like I just stuck two Echo Dots on my ceiling? Also, it says you can link up to eight of them (Master + 7 satellites) does it matter if it’s 4 masters and 4 satellites, as that is how they would come if I ordered multiples from this deal.

What happen when the light goes out ?

The night the lights went out in Georgia?

Suggest everyone reads the reviews. Even the 5 star reviews comment on connection issues and hassles of turning lights on and off, but seem to give it a pass for the benefits of having a speaker. It also uses a separate Sengled app from the lights one. I have over 20 Sengled bulbs and that app works great, no issues once you have the bulbs set up properly.

I was in, before I was out even though the price is worth a try. Just don’t need the wife complaining about more IoT devices and what they are named.

I’ve had a set of these for about 3 months. 4 of them really.
Range is meh, 30 foot from master for each satellite. So locate accordingly.
Sound is okay, it does sound like a pair of echo’s but with multiples it has no problem filling a room with decent quality music.
Master issue, you are only allowed to use one master per set. I bought multiple sets and stole the satellites from them as it was the cheapest way to get a satellite.
The app is decent. And the only way to control the volume and brightness.
The light is pretty white, but just yellow enough it’s not an issue.
They are fairly big, so the fixture may be an issue.
Shoot me any questions you have.
Would buy again, 7/10

Thanks for the answer on that. That was my concern. Unfortunate because I was in for 4 pairs if I could use them all. Buying 3 extra masters for no reason seems a waste.

Per the vendor, yes!

Setting your Pulse bulbs to work as a Bluetooth speaker for your Google Home Assistant would be done via the Google Home app.

Do you have to use with Alexa? Or can I just use it like a bluetooth speaker and connect to my phone, then play music?

That will work… “Pair it with your Bluetooth-enabled device, and hit ‘Play’!”

Hi - I just installed these this week. I paid $6. more than this price. They sound very good at a moderate volume even sometimes are too loud and have to lower it. Everyone who comes in the house is impressed with them. I had to order extras for my friends. I bought some here too. Just be aware you will have to remove the dimmer switch. Which I did. And there was no buzzing. However, I reinstalled them in the kitchen, removed the dimmer switch, but the switch is in a bank of 3 switches, and a different light has a dimmer on it (the previous owners put a dimmer on just about every light) and now it makes a buzzing noise and the second speaker is slow to kick in. So I will have to remove that dimmer switch too. Also, it is not as simple as saying Alexa, play X, when using a Show or a Dot. These speakers connect by Bluetooth and I found the most convenient way to use them is to stream music using my phone. It still is an awesome upgrade to have music in an area that is inconvenient to have speakers or an Echo (or other device). Also, Make sure you download the Sengled Pulse App. They have several different apps in the Google Play store, and at first I downloaded the wrong one. The small instruction booklet is well hidden, you have to take out both bulbs from the packaging to find it.
