SHARK Matrix Plus RoboVac Self-Empty HEPA Base

SHARK Matrix Plus RoboVac Self-Empty HEPA Base

If it could only turn into a slinky type then I will have answered my mom’s wishes. Lol She needs one to do her stairs but she can’t lift much at all.

There was a KickStarter for a robot vacuum that does stairs.

“WAS” appears to be the keyword in reference to the MIGO Ascender. Sounded interesting so I went to the above provided link to check it out. Project is canceled & all monies have been refunded by the company. Bummer!

These work great at home so I bought three for the cleanrooms at work. Hope they work out!

…and they FAR exceeded their goal!

Hey thank you for the information. I would have checked it out but it looks like our friend @free41899 has already done that.

Thank you for checking this out it would have been great if it had worked. I’m sure it’s not too far behind in being successful :crossed_fingers:

I bought one but had difficulty getting it working. I plugged in the base, charged the battery, and installed the app on my iPhone (and iPad). The app was able to see the robot and get it registered, but then the app would lock up and not allow me to access/control the robot at all. I tried uninstalling the app, resetting the robot, and everything the troubleshooting guide says to do, all to no avail (both on the iphone and ipad). I called Shark customer support and they couldn’t figure it out either.
As a last resort before returning it, I tried installing the app on my old Samsung phone, and it did allow me to connect to the robot. There was already a house mapped on the robot (presumably from the previous owner), and once I deleted that, the app started working on my apple devices. I was able to map my house, and the robot is working fine now.

Sadly mine was defective, cliff sensors didn’t work. I have an email in to Woot but when I look online it appears that they are out of the item. So sad. Hopefully Amazon will pay for return. If not I’ll be even sadder. (by the way I have other versions of this and LOVE them, just sad this reconditioned one was defective)

Sorry. :frowning:

As long as you don’t abuse our generosity, we provide pre-paid return labels.

Interesting. Mine also initially loaded with a map of the previous owner’s home. You’d think they’d clear personal data like that as part of the refurbishing process.
